Our Head Office provides the strategic direction and support services for Wintringham’s residential, housing and community care services.

 

Your new role

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our IT Team as a full time, hands-on, IT PMO Team Leader. This is a ‘non-technical’ IT role, working closely with the Application and Infrastructure teams, as well as senior SME’s from across the organisation, to deliver on assigned projects/change. This position is a change and continuous improvement advocate, always looking for ways to build capacity and create efficiencies within the organisation. This is more than a project supervision / oversight role and requires strong, hands-on, Project Management, Business Analysis, and Technical Writing skills.

Example projects includes Incident & Hazard management system, end to end HRIS, Government funding model changes (ERP), Finance team continuous improvements, procurement, contract management systems, plus many more projects awaiting prioritisation.

 

Your responsibilities and duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Lead the IT PMO team (currently 3 staff), including permanent and contract resources as needed, while providing hands on Project Management, Business Analysis, and Technical Writing expertise
  • Assist with the successful implementation of organisation system changes such as new enterprise applications, upgrades, government changes, and continuous improvements
  • Management and delivery of prioritised projects including -
    • Detailed project planning
    • Coordination of project resources and SME’s
    • Effective communication with all stakeholders
    • Management of project documentation and reporting
    • Working closely with the Project Team, SME’s, BA’s/Technical Writer to troubleshoot roadblocks to ensure the success of the project
    • Escalation of project risks and slippages in a timely fashion
  • Manage change and continuous improvements providing BA and Technical Writing resources to update system processes and manuals.

We are looking for candidates with the following:

  • Advanced project management, business analysis, and technical writing skills
  • Exceptional communication skills (Written and Verbal)
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work autonomously but escalate items in a timely fashion when required
  • Ability to work to and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to liaise with staff at every level of the organization
  • Current driver’s license & own reliable vehicle for site visits where required
