Commencing in March 2025, our program provides professional development training and on-the-job experience pathways, designed to help you become qualified in your chosen career. As a trainee and apprentice of the City, you will have many opportunities available to you:

In the role of Business Support Trainee, you will form part of a team that provides essential administrative and operational support. This is a unique role that will provide hands-on experience in various business functions, including document management, data entry, and customer service. You will contribute to the smooth running of the City by providing efficient and accurate administrative assistance.   

• Provide professional customer service to internal and external customers
• Assist with general administrative support services
• Support the preparation and prioritisation of meetings and, day-to-day work activities
• Manage and prioritise inboxes, calendars and schedules
• Perform data entry, filing and document management
• Enhance administration services and provide suggestions for improvement.

• Individuals committed to delivering positive customer service to ensure a great experience for all
• Good communicators with basic language, literacy and numeracy skills with the ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and contribute to a fast-paced environment
• Successful completion of Year 12  

Applicants must have full working rights in Australia for the duration of the qualification and be able to work full-time.
