After Hours Coordinator

Across Australia, Just Better Care provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. Just Better Care Gold Coast run an After Hours service to ensure service continuity after standard business hours, weekends, public holidays and over the Christmas New Year period.

 

We are seeking a sole/independent contractor to provide After Hours service on alternate weekends from Friday 4:30pm through to Monday 7:30am and 4 weeknights per week 4:30pm - 7:30am.  You will be the point of contact for Community Support Professionals, Customers and Funders.

 

The Role:

  • Redirect callers to 000 if an emergency occurs
  • Provide support or to email an alert of service cancellation
  • Arrange a replacement staff to cover unplanned absences and shift changes
  • Verify allocation of Community Support Professionals against customer service schedules

 

What you will need:

  • Rostering experience (preferred)
  • The ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Demonstrate a high level of verbal and written communication skills, including familiarity and confidence in using the Microsoft Suite
Desirable:
  • Experience with Procura
  • Previous experience in the community care or health/aged care sector
  • Knowledge of Gold Coast and Northern Rivers area
