Across Australia Just Better Care provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. We are currently looking for community based Enrolled Nurses to join our Sunshine Coast team. Duties and responsibilities may include:
- Working in our Supported Independent Living Homes located in Caloundra and Nambour, providing individual and personalised support to customers in accordance with their support plans and/or medical practitioner's directions.

Travelling between customer’s homes and providing individual and personalised support to customers in accordance with their support plans and/or medical practitioner’s directions.

Working with or under the guidance of Registered Nurses, Allied Health professionals and medical practitioners
- Medication Administration and Complex Clinical Care e. Palliative Care, Epilepsy, Bowel Care/ Suppositories, Catheter Care, Stoma Care, Oxygen and more
- Monitoring and communicating on the customer’s wellbeing and reporting on progress of customers
- Ensuring that all services are provided in a caring and respectful way in accordance with Just Better Care’s policy and procedures, legislative requirements and program specific guidelines (i.e.Community Nursing)
- Provide coaching and guidance to Community Support Professionals and Support Staff/Case Managers as required
- Demonstrating a commitment to best practice and evidence of continued professional development
- Participating in staff meetings and attending training opportunities when required
What you will need:
- Diploma in Nursing (required)
- Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
- Current and satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is preferred)
- Smartphone with internet access
- Proof of of Vaccination (where relevant) i.e. COVID-19 vaccination certificate
Desirable:
- Previous experience in the community care or health/aged care sector
- Understanding of Community Nursing guidelines or previous community nursing experience
- Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment
