With over 15 years of experience, we have been dedicated to supporting older adults and people with disabilities to maintain their independence in their own homes and stay connected to their communities. We are currently seeking a Scheduling Officer to join our team in Varsity Lakes.
The role:
Scheduling Officers play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless delivery of services to our customers. As a Scheduling Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating service delivery using a team of community care workers. Your primary focus will be on providing high-quality operational services, maintaining efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and adhering to compliance and procedural standards.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage customer service schedules, including service planning, confirmations, and managing short-notice placements and cancellations.
- Prepare and transmit schedules for customer services to support professionals.
- Verify the allocation of support professionals against customer service schedules and investigate any discrepancies with scheduled visits.
- Arrange replacement staff to cover leave, planned or unplanned absences, shift changes, and non-compliance services.
- Manage day-to-day activities of the service, including answering and actioning incoming calls and emails.
- Monitor the implementation of individualised plans for customers and ensure the delivery of services meets specified standards.
About you:
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work flexibly to respond to changing customer needs.
- Effective decision-making skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and planning abilities.
- Highly proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications.
What you will need:
- Relevant qualifications in Community Care or Business Administration.
- Previous experience in rostering.
- Experience in rostering to SCHADS (desirable).
- Current criminal record check.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
