About us  

Just Better Care is recruiting for an Administration Officer to provide support to our NDIS Team. We are open to either temporary full time or temporary part time contract/s for a period of up to 12 months to cover for paternity leave. The role is office based at our beautiful, new office at Birtinya.

About the role 

As our NDIS Administration Officer, you will report to the NDIS Manager in providing support specifically in participant intake, assessment tasks, support planning, and service establishment. 

As a crucial link in our clients on boarding process, you will also be responsible for gathering documents, coordinating the on boarding of customers, entering data into the CRM system, setting up residential sites, and organising client-specific training to ensure a smooth on boarding and integration process for clients while working closely with our service delivery team. This role will require occasional travel up to the Wide Bay area to our Supported and Independent Living Home. Candidates must be available for a starting time of 8am or 8:30am. 

About you: 

To be successful in this role, you will (ideally) have demonstrated experience in aged care, disability, or community care, along with working knowledge and understanding (or capability to rapidly require) of NDIS, disability support funds (particularly SIL) and relevant legislation. 

Ideally, you will also be able to demonstrate the following experience and skills: 

  • A working knowledge of maintaining compliance with policies, procedures, work instructions, and organisational and legislative requirements. 
  • Experience in customer service environments with relevance to regulated entities. 
  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals. 
  • A high level of proficiency in PC-based applications, such as Microsoft Office and database applications, with the ability to quickly learn internal systems. 
  • The ability to embrace change and influence others. 
  • The ability to support organisational change and foster a continuous improvement mind set. 

It is a mandatory requirement for the successful candidate to have the legal right to work in Australia, hold and maintain (or be eligible to apply for) a current National Police Clearance and NDIS workers screening check. Qualifications and/or experience in Aged Care or Disability sectors are desirable.
