Full Time Aged Care Customer Service Officer
Across Australia Just Better Care provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. We are currently looking for an Aged Care Customer Service Officer to join our Gold Coast team at our Varsity Lakes office. You will play an integral role in ensuring individualised services are developed, delivered and communicated to customers and support people in your community to live their best life possible.
The role:
The Aged Care Customer Service Officer is responsible for effective, friendly and professional communication with our customers, ensuring that they feel heard and supported and their services are delivered in accordance with the customer’s assessed needs, whilst completing a range of administration tasks that aids the in coordinating the delivery of services to our customers.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Daily customer service tasks
- Communication with customers, family and support staff
- Answering and responding to a large volume of incoming calls
- Monitoring and responding to emails
- Rostering and building master schedules
- Third party management including communication and referrals
- Allied health referrals
- Generate daily feedback reports and action all low needs feedback.
- Process product and purchase requests
- General administration tasks including post / email enquiry packs
- Ensure compliance with all Just Better Care policies and procedures, statutory and contractual requirements in relation to management of service delivery
We are currently seeking:
- Friendly and empathic phone skills
- Strong interpersonal, communications and negotiations skills
- Effective organisational, decision making and planning skills
- Rostering experience (desirable)
- Ability to work flexibly in a team environment, with competing priorities, to respond to changing customers’ needs
What you will need:
- Experience or relevant qualification in Community Care or Business Administration
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office
- Current criminal record check clearance and working with children check
