Our team is dedicated to creating a positive impact in our community, and we're looking for a dynamic Support Coordinator to join us! This will be a permanent part-time position starting at 37.5 hour per week, Monday t Friday. 

What You'll Do: As a Support Coordinator, you will empower participant living with disability by connecting to support providers that best meet their distinct goals and aspirations. As a team member of Just Better Care you will be supporting the independence of individuals to enhancing their quality of life within their community by: 

  • Researching and coordinating a range of supports to meet individual needs.
  • Strengthen and enhance the participants capacity to coordinate supports, self direct and manage their own supports and participate in the community. 
  • Provide accurate reporting on the progress of partipcants in accordance with NDIS Framework. 
  • Assessing and guiding participants through provider options.
  • Negotiating services and prices, developing agreements, and managing service bookings.
  • Ensuring service provision aligns with participants' needs and protocols. 

What We're Looking For: We're on the hunt for passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our Townsville and Cairns teams, who meet the following criteria:

  • Must have minimum 2 years’ experience as a Support Coordinator and hold a minimum Certificate IV in a relevant field (Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of NDIS. 
  • Has a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives.
  • Possesses exceptional organisational and communication skills.
  • Is proactive with a focus on customer centric services. 
  • Brings a positive attitude and a collaborative spirit to our team.
