Just Better Care Eastern Suburb is looking for a  Enrolled Nurse to join our caring and dynamic team in Mascot, NSW. This role is open to both full time and part-time candidates. The Enrolled Nurse’s role is the efficient and effective delivery of professional nursing care and support to customers, respecting customer’s rights and in consultation and cooperation with the customer, their representatives, their medical practitioner(s) and other health professionals. 

This role involves the providing of effective leadership, supervision and clinical support to staff where necessary. The Enrolled Nurse is to ensure care is provided in accordance with the relevant Professional and Industry Standards and all legislative requirements. 

What you will need:

• Current Registered Nurse registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Evidence of continued professional development in accordance with the AHPRA standards.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance 
• Current First Aid certificate / CPR
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
• Proof of Working Rights in Australia 
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of continuous quality improvement principles
• Excellent people, problem solving, and conflict management skills
• Ability to work as part of a Team and maintain good working relationships

Desirable 

• Previous employment experience in community care or health/aged care or community services sector. 

Main Duties includes:

• The Enrolled Nurse provides and delivers individual and personalised support to clients in accordance with their care plans and/or medical practitioner’s directions.
• The Enrolled Nurse’s responsibilities may include, working with, or under the guidance and supervision of, medical practitioners and/or allied health professionals, monitoring and communicating the customer’s condition and other health and wellness related activities.
• The Enrolled Nurse will demonstrate a commitment to best practice, ensuring that all services are provided in a caring and respectful way in accordance with Just Better Care’s policy and procedures and legislative requirements.
