With over 15 years of experience, we have been dedicated to supporting older adults and people with disabilities to maintain their independence in their own homes and stay connected to their communities. We are currently seeking a Scheduling Officer to join our team in Varsity Lakes.
The Role:
Scheduling Officers play a key role in ensuring seamless service delivery to our customers. As a Scheduling Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating services using a team of community support professionals. Your primary focus will be to provide high-quality operational support, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with organisational procedures.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage customer service schedules, including service planning, confirmations, and managing short-notice placements and cancellations.
- Prepare and transmit schedules for customer services to support professionals.
- Verify the allocation of support professionals against customer service schedules and investigate any discrepancies.
- Arrange replacement staff to cover leave, planned or unplanned absences, shift changes, and non-compliance services.
- Manage day-to-day service activities, including answering and actioning incoming calls and emails.
- Monitor the implementation of individualised plans for customers to ensure services meet required standards.
About you:
- Relevant qualifications in Community Care or Business Administration.
- Previous rostering experience (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work flexibly to respond to changing customer needs.
- Effective decision-making skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
What you will need:
- Current criminal record check clearance and Working With Children Check.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence and access to your own vehicle (preferred).
