Aged Care & Disability Support Worker

About the role:

We are currently seeking Support Workers within the Brisbane South/East area to support our clients. This role will involve travelling between client's homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support.

• • Salary above the award rate, $32.80 p/h base with opportunity & penalties hours

  • Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
• Social support/transportation for social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
• Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
• Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment
• Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs
• Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
• Provide updates on customer progress following each service

 What you will need:

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check (required)
• Current Working with Children Check (preferred or willing to obtain)
• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (preferred)
• Current First Aid certificate/CPR (required)
• Current Australian Driver’s License (required)
• Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (required)
• Smart phone with internet access (required)
