Jamie's Italian has taken off in Australia, and thanks to the rapid expansion of the brand across the country, we have an opportunity for talented Commis Chefs at Jamie's Italian Sydney. As a part of a global network, you will help the Australian business deliver world class standards in order to exceed customer expectations.
Our menu is rooted in authenticity. We're all about fantastic, rustic dishes created using tried and tested recipes. Jamie's friend and mentor, Gennaro Contaldo, has added substance to what is now the essence of Jamie's Italian – tradition combined with current, innovative ideas and a Jamie twist.
We are looking for Chefs who are passionate about our brand and are looking to refine their skill with high volume, high quality food, and representing one of the world's most famous chefs.
About the role:
You will act as a role model for all aspiring new chefs for Jamie's Italian. This is an amazing opportunity to produce the highest quality dishes made with the freshest local ingredients. You will experience life as a chef in one of the busiest high volume kitchens in the country, working for the most respected chefs in the industry.
Key responsibilities:

We need someone who is passionate about our brand and is looking to refine their skill in a high volume and high quality food environment.

You will have excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.

Food safety knowledge is critical for our business and you will have a demonstrated knowledge of excellent food safety standards.

You will have a developed knowledge on WHS best practice in a commercial kitchen.

You need to be a technical expert, who is both resilient and professional.

You will have a demonstrated ability to thrive during busy service periods, whilst willing to live and breathe Jamie Oliver's food ethos.
