The opportunity:
Exciting opportunities are available for both newly graduated and experienced Registered Nurses. Join our positive team at one of Juniper's aged care facilities, located in various regional Western Australian towns, including Katanning, Geraldton, Wagin, Albany, Kununurra, Derby, and Fitzroy Crossing.
As a Registered Nurse with Juniper, you'll be responsible for assessing residents' needs in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, as well as planning, implementing, and evaluating residents' care plans. Demonstrated experience in mentoring and supervising care staff, along with awareness of AN-ACC required assessments, is essential.
For those willing to relocate to regional Western Australia, successful candidates may be eligible for a relocation allowance of up to $5,000 and initial accommodation assistance.
Key Responsibilities of this role:
- Implementation and development of resident care plans
- Responding to the requests and concerns of families and carers in liaison with the Residential Manager
- Sound knowledge of aged care documentation requirements
- Liaising with appropriate healthcare professionals to deliver quality care to residents
- Developing and maintaining the effective performance of other care and service staff
- Identifying training needs of clinical and care staff in liaison with the Residential Manager
- Ensuring full compliance with and maintenance of aged care standards
The Skills, Knowledge, and Experience required:
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Knowledge and experience in the provision of clinical care
- Planning and coordinating skills in matters related to delivery of care
- Ability and skills to guide staff in wound and diabetes care
- Sound knowledge of medication systems
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and team membership skills
