Therapy Assistants play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals accessing aged care services at Juniper. They empower individuals to maximize their abilities and participate according to their preferences. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual passionate about this vocation to join our Relief Team. The ideal candidate should be available to work Monday to Sunday and have the flexibility to cover planned and unplanned leave across several residential sites in the Perth Metro area.

On offer for the successful candidate is a Part Time or Full Time position. Only applicants with no work restrictions are encouraged to apply. Hours of work vary between 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, depending on site, with shifts ranging from 3 to 8 hours.

Duties:

  • Facilitate group and individual activities to boost cognitive abilities.
  • Evaluate care plans.
  • Develop and implement diverse activity programs meeting individual needs.
  • Aid therapists in enhancing functional independence.
  • Record daily therapy statistics and provide intervention feedback.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance.
  • Previous experience as a Therapy Assistant or Lifestyle Coordinator.
  • Current WA or Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • Reliable vehicle.
