Juniper St David's, situated in Mt Lawley, is a long-standing facility with 46 beds. Our homely atmosphere provides comfort to residents, including those living with dementia who require specialised support. We are committed to delivering high-quality care and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff.

Your Role:

As a Residential Manager, you'll lead with passion and purpose, overseeing operational and clinical aspects while fostering a culture of excellence and empathy. Your role will involve extensive engagement with residents, families, and stakeholders to ensure the highest quality of care and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure residents receive personalised care in line with their needs and preferences.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team dedicated to providing exceptional care.
  • Manage assets, finances, and operational risks effectively.
  • Drive change initiatives to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging staff to contribute ideas and solutions for enhancing resident care and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure seamless coordination of care transitions for residents moving between different levels of care within Juniper facilities or transitioning to external care providers.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organisation, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment for both staff and residents.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Business, Leadership, Clinical or equivalent
  • Significant leadership and people management experience with the ability to develop and influence others and effect change within an organisation as required.
  • Expertise in budgeting, financial planning, and understanding of not-for-profit sector regulations.
  • Experience in the use of appropriate information management systems to enable effective reporting and inform decision making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey ideas effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software
