We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Administration Officer to join Juniper Guwardi Ngadu, located in Fitzroy Crossing, Western Australia. Juniper Guwardi Ngadu is a well-established facility offering residential and memory support care. Our homely atmosphere provides comfort to residents, including those living with dementia who require specialised support. We are committed to delivering high-quality care and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff.
Your Role:
As an Administration Officer, you will handle reception duties, filing, data entry, record keeping, and various general administrative tasks, all while contributing to a warm and respectful environment. You will interact with staff, residents, their families, and visitors, welcoming them to the site and providing assistance as needed. A friendly, patient, and flexible demeanor is essential, along with the ability to handle interruptions gracefully and maintain a professional and accommodating approach.
The successful candidate will be offered a permanent full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls and visitors to the site.
- Process accounts receivable and payable, and place ARM purchase orders.
- Act as a point of contact for resident inquiries, referring them to the Manager/Supervisor as appropriate.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, word processing, minute-taking, and photocopying.
- Input and maintain records to ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in the aged care sector is highly desirable.
- Highly organised with the ability to multi-task.
- Effective time management skills and an understanding of the importance of meeting deadlines.
- Excellent presentation.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Professional and confident communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
