About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse with Juniper, you will be responsible for assessing residents' needs, in conjunction with other healthcare professionals, and for the planning, implementation and evaluation of residents' care plans. Demonstrated experience in the mentoring and supervision of care staff and the awareness of AN-ACC required assessments. A willingness to work within a person-centered, enabling environment, that respects the rights and needs of each individual, is essential for success in our organisation.
The multiple positions are available at our Juniper Karinya site located in Embleton. With 70 private rooms with ensuite with garden views spread across two wings, including a dementia-enabled care wing. The much-loved home is designed to bring families and friends together and empowers residents to live life their way. A compassionate and respectful team of staff support residents to continue pursuing their own interests, backed by individualised clinical care.
The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 1+ years plus experience within the aged care sector and is available to work a minumum of 3x shifts per week:
On offer is a maximum term (parental leave cover) working Thursday and Friday 7:00am - 15:15pm available now till 31-12-24 with possible extention*.
Part-time opportunity working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Nights 23:00pm - 07:15am (paid at level 2.1 in-charge rate).

- Implementation and development of resident care plans
- Respond to the requests and concerns of families and carers in liaison with the Residential Manager
- Sound knowledge of aged care documentation requirements
- Liaise with appropriate health care professionals to deliver quality care to the residents
- Develop and maintain the effective performance of other care and service staff
- Liaise with the Residential Manager to identify the training needs of clinical and care staff
- Ensure full compliance with and maintenance of aged care standards
Key Requirements:
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Knowledge and experience in the provision of clinical care
- Planning and coordinating skills in matters related to delivery of care
- Ability and skills to guide staff in wound and diabetes care
- Sound knowledge of medication systems
- Excellent communication, problem solving, interpersonal and team membership.
