Currently we have a vacant role available for Multiskilled Carer in Juniper Guwardi Ngadu located in Fitzroy Crossing, Kimberley region. It is a well-established facility offering 12 newly renovated shared rooms offering residential and memory support care. Our homely atmosphere provides comfort to residents, including those living with dementia who require specialized support. We are committed to delivering high-quality care and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff.

Your Role:

As a Multiskilled Carer, you will work closely with residents to support their daily living, social, and emotional needs. In this role, you will share responsibility for the well-being of residents, providing person-centered care and enhancing their quality of life by ensuring they feel welcome and respected at all times. Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, the successful candidate will honor our core values of Welcome, Respect, Compassion, Hope, and Courage. 

The successful candidate will be offered a full-time, part-time or casual role covering variety of AM/PM or Night shifts. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with hygiene needs, including bathing, dental hygiene, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
  • Support residents' independence by helping them engage in activities of interest and use mobility aids when required.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation and report information to relevant Nursing, Allied Health, and Management personnel as needed.
  • Maintain effective communication in the workplace, being respectful, open to change, and kind in your approach.
  • Assist residents with the administration of correct medication in accordance with Juniper's policies.

Key Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care 
  • Experience working in an aged care setting 
  • Understanding of AN-ACC documentation
  • Experience working within a person-centered, enabling environment
