About the role:

We are currently seeking a Deputy Finance & Grants Manager to join our team at Juniper Central. This leadership role offers the opportunity to contribute to the financial sustainability of our organisation and support the delivery of high-quality aged care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a finance team to deliver accurate, timely, and valuable financial information for decision-making across Juniper.
  • Oversee budgeting, reforecasting, and financial analysis processes, ensuring resource alignment with organisational priorities.
  • Manage grant funding processes, including applications, compliance, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the broader Corporate Services team to support cross-functional initiatives, enhancing organisational efficiency.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence within the Finance team.
  • Ensure compliance with aged care regulations and occupational safety standards.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Finance Leadership: Proven experience leading a finance team, ideally within the aged care or healthcare sector.
  • Grants Management: Experience managing grants from application through to compliance and reporting.
  • Financial Reporting: Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Aged Care Sector Knowledge: Understanding of the aged care funding models and compliance requirements (desirable).
  • Professional Qualifications: CPA or CA qualified (highly desirable).
  • Team Leadership: Strong leadership skills, fostering collaboration, and continuous improvement.
