About the Role:

Juniper is growing and we are recruiting for an experienced Clinician with a demonstrated ability to lead, champion quality and promote practise. The ideal candidates would have capacity to be flexible to work across a number of our Residential Sites across Western Australia.

Juniper sites are located  throughout metropolitan Perth and in the Kimberley, Mid-West, Wheatbelt and Great Southern regions, giving us one of the largest care footprints in Australia. 

Whilst working at a regional or remote location you will be provided with:

As a Roving Clinical Nurse Manager you will be provided ongoing support from our leadership team and be responsible for clinical leadership, coordinating resident care and facilitating the provision of person centred, clinical care services at the site. You will work closely with the Residential Manager, Area Manager and Multidisciplinary team including Allied Health practitioners, to ensure all services are provided in a manner that recognises the importance of supporting residents maintain their quality of life and exercise their rights as individuals. 

The ideal candidate must have the capacity to cover Regional and Metro sites for planned and unplanned leave. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and promote a collaborative approach to clinical and care staff to ensure delivery of person-centred care.
  • Actively support and work cohesively with the clinical care and allied health team
  • Provide comprehensive review and oversight of residents' care needs and outcomes!
  • Monitor and minimise clinical risk and meet clinical quality KPIs
  • Identify changes in residents care needs in support of appropriate AN -ACC classification and funding.
  • Identify and support the development and clinical capability of the clinical care team

The Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

  • Current APHRA registration RN Division 1
  • Previous experience leading clinical and/or care teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge of evidence based clinical and care practices
  • Demonstrated knowledge of continuous improvement, aged care quality accreditation requirements, AN-ACC funding requirements and documentation
  • Valid Australian drivers licence
  • Experience with clinical problem solving and a commitment to delivering high quality, resident focused care
  • Satisfactorily pass all relevant Key Personnel checks including Bankruptcy and Police Clearance
