About the role:

We are currently seeking a Newly graduated or an Experienced Physiotherapist to join our supportive team at our Juniper Bethshan, aged care home, located in Katanning. Juniper Bethshan combines the charm of its 1920's origins with modern amenities, fostering a warm, community-orientated environment where residents can personlise their spaces and engage in a range of activities supported by compassionate staff and local connections. 

As a Juniper Physiotherapist you will utilize evidence-based interventions and a reablement approach to improve the independence of our residents. You will play a vital role in our multidisciplinary team, offering high quality, resident focused physiotherapy services.

This role requires working two days per week, between Monday to Friday 8:00am - 15:30pm, with flexible days negotiable for the right candidate. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop personalised care plans, and implement effective strategies to meet each client's unique needs
  • Design both individual and group exercise programs to keep clients motivated and engaged to optimise their function and independence
  • Through equipment assessment and prescription, identify and provide solutions that support client autonomy and well-being
  • Foster collaboration and successful outcomes by communicating effectively with clients, families, and caregivers
  • Ensure seamless care coordination and accurate progress tracking through meticulous record-keeping
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and Therapy Assistants to achieve the desired outcomes for your clients

Key requirements:

  • Current FULL registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist (essential)
  • Previous experience working within aged care 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate quality care
