About the Role: 

We're on the lookout for caring and customer-oriented Kitchen Hand to join our team at  Juniper Bethshan   located in Katanning. A cozy 26 room residential home that combines original charm with modern facilities.

As a Kitchen Hand, your main responsibilities will include food preparation, ensuring smooth meal services, and maintaining a hygienic kitchen environment.

The ideal candidate will be available to work all required shifts. 

Saturday: 7:30am - 10:30am and Sunday: 15:30pm - 19:00pm

There is the ability to pick up extra shifts across other Juniper Weatbelt sites*.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Assist in food preparation, portioning, and serving
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen areas and equipment
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Follow Juniper's Occupational Safety and Health policies

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in commercial cooking or aged care environments
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and hygiene standards
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of safe chemical handling procedures
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Working rights in Australia
