About the role:
We are seeking a Program Lead to join the Support at Home division of our Community Business Development Department on a maximum term basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Juniper team in this newly developed role which has been created to help ensure Juniper is prepared for the new Aged Care Reforms. Whilst working in this role you will lead, plan and coordinate the Support at Home transition program to ensure business readiness for this Aged Care reform initiative. The Program Lead manages interdependencies, deliverables and reporting to ensure program implementation to agreed scope, timeframes and budget.
This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week during business hours primarily at Juniper Ron Wilson House Bentley with some travel to metropolitan sites as required. The position is being offered on a fixed term basis with a 12 month contract on offer for the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and remain up to date with the Support at Home Program change requirements
- Support rollout of new Support at Home program/service models to improve client experience, reduce costs and optimise workforce
- Support rollout of new operational billing and reporting processes and practices
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Collaborate with the digital team to establish the viable product for digital consumer engagement
- Identify opportunities for synergies that deliver effective resource utilisation
- Manage and monitor program level risks and issues
- Identify the requirements for shared services, technical services and operations and ensure these areas are ready to respond and deliver requirements
- Manage program reporting to a Program governance committee; including coordination of individual Project Managers
- Ensure projects and goals are met in all areas including internal client satisfaction, safety, quality, operational delivery and security
- Implement and manage the change management plan including the communication plan
- Ensure that project activities comply with the Juniper project management framework as defined by the Project Management Office
Key requirements:
- Aged care sector experience – essential
- Experience in the current Commonwealth Home Care Program - desirable
- Relevant tertiary qualifications - desirable
- Demonstrated ability to lead and participate in improvement projects and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and communication skills at both strategic and operational levels
- Demonstrated experience in leadership including communicating a vision, planning, setting and adjusting priorities and resourcing to coordinate complex work programs in an environment of firm deadlines, stringent quality and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team to produce high quality outputs
- Ability to work in a highly productive environment with time pressures whilst managing multiple tasks
- Previous experience in transforming operational services in the health or aged care sector
- Strong proven focus on operational efficiencies
- Strong commercial acumen
