 About the role:

We are looking to hire a Data and Integrations Lead to join our team at Juniper's Central site in Balcatta. In this pivotal role, the Data and Integrations Lead will be responsible for overseeing and managing the integration of diverse software systems, applications, and technologies. You will collaborate with both internal and external teams to deliver flexible, customer-focused solutions. This includes working closely with the support team and managed service provider to ensure timely escalation and resolution of necessary changes.

The successful candidate will be offered a Permanent Full-Time position, working 75 hours per fortnight.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop integration architectural artefacts, such as architecture models, specifications, and design patterns.
  • Liaise with project teams and developers to deliver fit for purpose solutions.
  • Designs and develops robust data models, supporting documentation and processes to meet BI requirements.
  • Develop data integration pipelines across different sources, systems and platforms, using various tools and technologies.
  • Develop and enforce effective data management policies and procedures.
  • Implement data quality checks, data security measures and data governance standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any data issues or incidents.
  • Leading and manage agile teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key requirements:

  • Degree or post graduate qualification in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline.
  • Solid understanding of Integration architecture principles, frameworks, patterns, governance, and solution design methodologies. Relevant certifications such as SAFe, or similar are desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in data integrations, database administration, or related roles.
  • Experience creating integration solution designs with appropriate application of integration capabilities such as APIs, pub/sub messaging, events and ETL considering the various available platform strengths.
  • Practical experience with ETL tools, SQL, integration platforms and middleware such as Azure Integration Services or KNIME.
  • Extensive experience in data modelling, cleansing, and warehousing tools with expertise in statistical and data mining techniques.
  • Proficient in conducting complex requirements gathering, design workshops, and driving data literacy initiatives.
  • Excellent customer service attitude and enthusiasm for solving problems and creating technical solutions.
