This full-time role is based at Juniper Central in Balcatta.

About the Role

As a People and Culture Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in providing HR support and employee relations expertise to our team. You’ll support management and staff on employment matters, ensuring compliance and fostering a fair, supportive work environment. This role includes assisting with employee relations cases, policy development, and change management initiatives, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional advice on employment issues, offering clear, consistent guidance to management and staff.
  • Lead Enterprise Agreement negotiations, ensuring alignment with relevant legislation.
  • Support managers through dispute resolution and performance management processes.
  • Research and recommend strategies on industrial relations reforms and emerging issues.
  • Advise line managers and staff on change management to facilitate smooth transitions.
  • Lead special HR projects, managing scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Conduct exit interviews and generate insights to improve staff retention.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, including enterprise agreement negotiations and workplace investigations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • A commitment to fostering a compliant, respectful, and positive work environment.
