The Role

Located in our office across from the gorgeous waterfront of Bellerive, you will work with children and their families to support the development of their communication skills, social skills and feeding abilities. View the full job description here to find our more.

We are seeking to fill this role flexibly, either part-time of full-time (3-5 days per week) depending on the preference of the successful candidate.

To be considered for the role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology;
  • Registered as a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CPSP) as approved by Speech Pathology Australia;
  • Strong ability to manage a case load of clients, consistently meeting service delivery objectives and time frames;
  • High level of interpersonal skills as this role requires you to work within an interdisciplinary team, external organisations and a varied client-base;
  • Strong written communications skills for writing comprehensive, concise and accurate reports for client recommendations;
  • Understanding of person and family-centred interventions.

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in or be willing to learn the following:

  • Funding schemes (i.e. National Disability Insurance Scheme);
  • Previous experience working within a Fee for Service model.
