About the Opportunity
Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services Ltd (KAMS) has a truly rewarding opportunity for a Aboriginal Liaison Officer to join the team in Bidyadanga on a part time basis.
The Aboriginal Liaison Officer (ALO) role is to increase and enhance opportunities to connect and provide various services and programs to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients in the community.
Some of these tasks will include (but will not be limited to):

Assist Connected Beginnings staff to connect with Aboriginal clients and their families

Supports clients to access health services, including medical appointments, allied health services, and scheduled health assessments.

Assist Connected Beginnings team to promote, and facilitate health promotion events

Facilitates understanding between clients, their families, the community and the Connected Beginnings team.

A 'C' Class Driver's License, Federal Police Clearance and willingness to travel often by 4WD vehicle and light aircraft will be required.
