We currently have an opportunity for a Contracts and Procurement Officer to join the team in our Finance Department. As Contracts and Procurement Officer you will get to:
- To support the Procurement Coordinator in the day-to-day management of the Procurement
function. - To support the Procurement Coordinator in providing timely and sound procurement, tendering and
contract administration advise to internal and external customers. - To provide assistance, guidance and training to staff in the application of systems and programs
associated with procurement
What we offer...
- Permanent full time, 35 hours per week (A job share arrangement will be considered for this role - if applicable)
- Annual salary from $63,968.32 to $76,776.96 (salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
- Plus 11% superannuation
- Laptop
What you'll need to be successful in the role...
- Qualifications in one or more of the disciplines of Procurement and Supply, Project Management, Accounting or Business management.
- Knowledge and demonstrated skills and experience in procurement and supply practices, providing support and advice on procurement and advice on procurement and tendering practices, policies and procedures.
- High level verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish credibility across multiple organisational levels and externally.
- High level written communication skills including experience in writing procedures and developing and documenting workflows and processes.
- Demonstrated experience and current knowledge in the use of computerised financial, purchasing and inventory systems
