We currently have an opportunity for a Home Library Services Officer to join the team in our Library Department. As Home Library Services Officer you will get to: 

  • To assist in providing an effective and efficient library service to the community.
  • To provide a home library service to the community.
  • To assist in the promotion of the library and its services.
  • To protect and promote the image of Council as an effective and courteous organisation.

What we offer...

  • Permanent Part-Time, 21 hours per week 
  • Annual salary from $36,471 to $43,947 (salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience) 
  • Plus 11.5% superannuation 
  • Vehicle for operational use

What you'll need to be successful in the role...

  • Diploma in Library and Information Services or those recognised by Australian Library and Information
  • Class C Drivers Licence.
  • Experience working in a Library or knowledge of Library operations, systems, legislation and copyright law.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and relevant library programs
  • Customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds. 
  • Ability to work well in a team and/or independently.
