We currently have an opportunity for a Home Library Services Officer to join the team in our Library Department. As Home Library Services Officer you will get to:
- To assist in providing an effective and efficient library service to the community.
- To provide a home library service to the community.
- To assist in the promotion of the library and its services.
- To protect and promote the image of Council as an effective and courteous organisation.
What we offer...
- Permanent Part-Time, 21 hours per week
- Annual salary from $36,471 to $43,947 (salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
- Plus 11.5% superannuation
- Vehicle for operational use
What you'll need to be successful in the role...
- Diploma in Library and Information Services or those recognised by Australian Library and Information
- Class C Drivers Licence.
- Experience working in a Library or knowledge of Library operations, systems, legislation and copyright law.
- Proficiency with MS Office and relevant library programs
- Customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Ability to work well in a team and/or independently.
