We currently have a temporary opportunity for a Records Information Management Officer to join the Records team. As a Records Information Management Officer, you will get to:
- Assist Council’s Records Information Management Coordinator in the efficient and effective operation of Council’s Records in accordance Council policies, procedures and legislative requirements
- Provide a customer-focused records and information service to the organisation
- Provide advice to staff on records management processes
What we offer...
- Temporary part time, 21 hours per week until June 2025
- An annual salary from $60,785.92 to $73,245.64 - to be based on pro rata and length of contract. (salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
- Plus 11.5 % superannuation
What you'll need to be successful in the role...
- Certificate III in Recordkeeping and/or relevant professional experience in complex records and information management systems, and/or complex filing systems.
- Solid knowledge of recordkeeping principles and practices for both physical and digital records.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills with a proven ability to manage conflicting workloads/priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail with experience in scanning, data entry, recordkeeping tasks and registration skills.
- Strong customer service ethos and a demonstrated customer-centric approach to service provision.
- Experience in the use of registering digital records into an EDRMS (Electronic Document and Records Management System).
- Experience working with the NSW State Records Act, General Disposal Authorities (GA39 & GA45) & Records and Information Management Standards
