At KINNECT, we're experiencing rapid expansion, and we're thrilled to announce the recruitment for the newly created role of Occupational Health Services Manager. As a leader in the full spectrum of Occupational Health Services, ranging from Pre-Employment Medicals to Health Surveillance and Occupational Medicine, you'll have the unique opportunity to oversee this function, ensuring the highest standards of occupational health service delivery for KINNECT nationally whilst working closely with KINNECT’s Clinical Governance Manager, Chief Medical Officer, and Chief Operations Officer. Additionally, you'll work on improving efficiencies that support our rapid organic growth and increase output, ensure quality, and promote customer and client experience. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this hybrid role offers flexibility and can be based in any one of our offices across Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, or Sydney.

Responsibilities:

Service Delivery Management: Oversee and coordinate the delivery of pre-employment, health surveillance and occupational health and medical services, ensuring timely, high-quality service delivery that aligns with KINNECT’s standards and client expectations.

Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of health/medical support services team members, fostering a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and high standards of service.

Compliance and Standards: Optimise compliance with local, state, and national regulations, as well as internal standards, and clinical governance frameworks across all medical services provided, enhancing safe, effective, and ethical occupational health and medicals practices.

Reporting and Data Analysis: Prepare detailed reports on service outcomes/metrics, using data analysis to inform strategic decision-making and enhance service quality.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, aligning medical service strategies with business goals and emerging industry trends.

What will you bring to the role: 

  • Extensive experience in the delivery, management, and coordination of high-quality occupational health services, including pre-employment medical, health surveillance monitoring, and occupational medicine services is essential, including a strong understanding of the associated clinical governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to effectively lead a team in delivering high quality services and exceptional customer experience within Occupational Health.
  • Familiarity with legislative employee health assessments such as Coal Board, Driver, Rail Industry, and hazardous exposure medicals.
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in nursing, occupational health, or related allied health field.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to facilitate commercial performance in tangent with both corporate and clinical governance.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with external clients and internal stakeholders such as KINNECT’s Chief Medical Officer, Clinical Governance Manager and Chief Customer Officer
