Let the Journey Begin:

We are seeking to expand our teams and hire several motivated and compassionate Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our multidisciplinary teams based in either Brisbane (Woolloongabba), Cairns, Mackay, Sydney (Macquarie Park or Mascot). We can offer starting dates from now to February 2025!

In this role, you will provide expert guidance and support to individuals recovering from injury or illness, facilitating their return to work and daily activities. You will work closely with employers, healthcare providers, and clients to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' physical, psychological, and social needs.
  • Develop personalized rehabilitation plans aimed at achieving sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
  • Provide counselling and support to clients to help them overcome barriers and build resilience.
  • Liaise with employers to design and implement suitable workplace modifications and accommodations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment and rehabilitation efforts.
  • Monitor and review clients' progress, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records in compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

What Will You Bring to the Role?

  • Professional membership or eligibility for membership with relevant accrediting body ASORC
  • A Passion for helping others! Recent Graduates Welcome to apply!
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in using case management software and other relevant IT tools.
  • Full Clean Driver’s license
