We are seeking to expand our team and hire a motivated and compassionate Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our Mascot. If you are a new Graduate Rehab Counsellor, we can offer you a place on our esteemed Graduate Program which is now better than ever, offering unparalleled opportunities to grow and succeed!

In this role, you will provide expert guidance and support to individuals recovering from injury or illness, facilitating their return to work and daily activities. You will work closely with employers, healthcare providers, and clients to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' physical, psychological, and social needs. 
  • Develop personalised rehabilitation plans to achieve sustainable return-to-work outcomes. 
  • Provide counselling and support to clients to help them overcome barriers and build resilience. 
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment and rehabilitation efforts. 
  • Collaborate with employers to design workplace modifications and accommodations.
  • Monitor and review clients' progress, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. 
  • Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records in compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Eligibility for membership or current membership with ASORC.
  • A passion for helping others—recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency with case management software.
  • A full, clean driver’s license.
