We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Rehabilitation Counsellor to become part of our dynamic, multidisciplinary team based in beautiful Maroochydore on the stunning Sunshine Coast.
About the Role
Reporting to the Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals recovering from injury or illness, helping them regain independence and return to work or daily activities. You will collaborate closely with employers, healthcare providers, and clients to design and implement tailored rehabilitation plans that make a real impact.
Day to Day:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' physical, psychological, and social needs.
- Develop personalised rehabilitation plans aimed at achieving sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
- Provide counselling and support to clients to help them overcome barriers and build resilience.
- Liaise with employers to design and implement suitable workplace modifications and accommodations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment and rehabilitation efforts.
- Monitor and review clients' progress, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records in compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
