As part of our strategic growth plan, we have identified a significant opportunity to support SME clients in need of our occupational health services. To capitalise on this, we are seeking a Sales Specialist (Business Development Manager) to expand our reach and drive new business growth.

In this role, you will play a crucial role in identifying and securing new clients through a relationship-driven sales approach within the occupational health sector. To thrive, you must have a solid understanding of occupational health services, industry legislation, and client needs, allowing you to provide tailored solutions that deliver real value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential clients across key industries, including mining, manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and government sectors.
  • Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders to understand their occupational health needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Showcase KINNECT’s service offerings by leveraging our cutting-edge, sister companies’ platform, Carelever, to deliver technology-driven occupational health solutions that set us apart in the industry.
  • Manage inbound and outbound lead generation, responding to client inquiries while proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with account managers and operational teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and outstanding service delivery.
  • Travel as needed to meet prospective clients, strengthen relationships, and expand KINNECT’s presence in key markets.

About You

  • Proven Sales & Business Development Experience – You have a track record of identifying, engaging, and securing new clients, ideally within occupational health, allied health or a related industry.
  • Relationship-Driven Approach – You understand that sales is about building trust-based, long-term partnerships that drive real business value.
  • Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills – You are confident in presenting tailored solutions, articulating value propositions, and negotiating contracts that align with both client needs and business objectives.
  • Industry Knowledge & Technical Expertise – You have a knowledge of occupational health services, pre-employment medicals, health surveillance, workplace rehabilitation, and legislative requirements, enabling you to position KINNECT’s solutions effectively.
  • Hunter Mentality – You thrive on seeking out new business opportunities, leveraging networking, referrals, and market insights to drive revenue growth.
  • Self-Motivated & Collaborative – You are a self-starter who works independently while also valuing teamwork and contributing to a high-performing sales environment.
  • Tech-Savvy & Adaptable – You are comfortable using Carelever, KINNECT’s innovative digital platform, as a sales tool to demonstrate value to clients.
  • Willing to Travel – The majority of your time will be spent engaging with local clients. However, there will be occasional interstate travel required to represent KINNECT
