Role: Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant
As a Rehabilitation Consultant at KINNECT, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping injured individuals regain independence and return to work through evidence-based, client-centred care. Each day brings something new — from assessments and clinical reporting to employer education and hands-on engagement with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess injured workers and develop tailored return-to-work strategies.
- Conduct workplace visits and liaise with employers on injury prevention.
- Coordinate with medical professionals and insurers for case management.
- Prepare detailed clinical reports and provide professional recommendations.
Additional Services You’ll Deliver:
- Pre-employment health screenings (including drug & alcohol testing, audiology, and functional assessments).
- Manual handling training, risk assessments, and ergonomic evaluations (in office, home, or vehicle settings).
- Development of job dictionaries and stretching/warm-up programs.

About You
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy
- Be licensed by the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)
- Be eligible & motivated to completed (the Australian Physiotherapy Council (APC) assessment pathway)
- And then eligible & motivated to apply for eligible for AHPRA registration (mandatory for practice in Australia)
Desirable:
- Experience in musculoskeletal rehab, functional assessments, injury case management, or health education is highly valued. Prior exposure to compensation schemes e.g., ECC is a bonus.
- Strong clinical reasoning and report writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Culturally sensitive, with the ability to build rapport across diverse background
