KINNECT is offering an exciting opportunity for Filipino physiotherapists interested in transitioning into the role of a Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant — with full 482 Visa Sponsorship provided!

Role: Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant

As a Rehabilitation Consultant at KINNECT, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping injured individuals regain independence and return to work through evidence-based, client-centred care. Each day brings something new — from assessments and clinical reporting to employer education and hands-on engagement with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess injured workers and develop tailored return-to-work strategies.
  • Conduct workplace visits and liaise with employers on injury prevention.
  • Coordinate with medical professionals and insurers for case management.
  • Prepare detailed clinical reports and provide professional recommendations.

Additional Services You’ll Deliver:

  • Pre-employment health screenings (including drug & alcohol testing, audiology, and functional assessments).
  • Manual handling training, risk assessments, and ergonomic evaluations (in office, home, or vehicle settings).
  • Development of job dictionaries and stretching/warm-up programs.

About You

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy
  • Be licensed by the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)
  • Be eligible & motivated to completed (the Australian Physiotherapy Council (APC) assessment pathway)
  • And then eligible & motivated to apply for eligible for AHPRA registration (mandatory for practice in Australia)

Desirable:

  • Experience in musculoskeletal rehab, functional assessments, injury case management, or health education is highly valued. Prior exposure to compensation schemes e.g., ECC is a bonus.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and report writing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Culturally sensitive, with the ability to build rapport across diverse background
