Due to continued growth at our Cairns clinic, we’re excited to welcome a new Occupational Health Nurse to our team. This is a full-time position, but we’re open to flexibility – whether you're looking for four days a week or school hours over five days, we’re happy to find a schedule that works for you.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse seeking a rewarding role with genuine work/life balance. In this role, you’ll be an integral part of our friendly and supportive team, conducting pre-employment medicals and contributing to a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

Your day-to-day will include:
- Conducting Pre-Employment, Periodic and Health Surveillance Medical assessments.
- Performing Urine and Saliva Drug and Alcohol Testing
- Collecting Blood Serology and Pathology samples.
- Conducting Neurological, Skin, Respiratory and Cardiovascular Medical Assessments.
- Administering Immunisations (if registered).
- Participating in occasional project work at client sites, such as Drug & Alcohol testing, which may require early starts at 6 AM, with an early finish.

- Client-Specific Work: Occasionally, there will be project work outside regular hours. For example, the team might perform drug and alcohol tests for a client requiring an early start at 6 AM. While such projects are not frequent, they provide variety and are compensated either with additional pay or adjusted hours.

Is This Role Right for You?
- You’re a Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration (essential).
- You have experience in Occupational Health, ED, or clinical nursing.
- You excel at building rapport and strong relationships.
- You thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- You hold a current Driver’s Licence and have reliable transport.
