KINNECT is expanding our reach, and we're on the lookout for an experienced Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant to join us as a contractor covering Tamworth and surrounding areas.

As a contractor with KINNECT, you will bring prior experience in workplace rehabilitation and be capable of operating independently — with ongoing support and guidance from your manager and our wider team.

Your Role

You will be delivering workplace rehabilitation services aimed at helping individuals re-engage in meaningful employment through a client-centered approach that promotes optimal health and well-being.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments of injured workers to determine effective return-to-work strategies.
  • Visiting workplaces to identify potential barriers to recovery and educating employers on injury prevention.
  • Providing clinical opinions through high-quality, evidence-based report writing.
  • Managing complex cases and liaising with treating practitioners and health professionals to support recovery and sustainable return to work.

What We’re Looking For

  • Professional Accreditation: Current registration with AHPRA or ESSA accreditation.
  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated background in workplace rehabilitation, with the ability to manage cases independently.
  • Analytical Expertise: Excellent analytical and report writing skills, with a focus on clear, evidence-based clinical justification.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with injured workers, employers, and healthcare providers.
  • Self-Motivation: Capable of working autonomously while staying connected to the broader team for support and guidance.
