The Opportunity

We’re looking for a high-performance General Manager who thrives on building systems, improving efficiency, and leading teams to deliver consistent, measurable results. Reporting to the CEO, you will own operational performance, team leadership, and delivery effectiveness, ensuring we scale impact while maintaining quality and compliance.

You’ll lead internal systems and team operations while preparing KINNECT Training to become a fully accredited RTO with a clear mandate: build a high-performing training business that runs like clockwork.

Your Mission

Drive operational excellence by improving efficiency, system effectiveness, and team performance to achieve scalable, profitable growth.

What You’ll Own

  • Operational Efficiency: Reduce delivery costs per learner while improving accuracy and timeliness across programs.
  • Compliance & Quality: Ensure 100% alignment with RTO requirements across accredited programs.
  • System Leadership: Oversee and improve student management (e.g. aXcelerate) and LMS platforms to increase automation and reduce manual handling.
  • Team Performance: Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team aligned to KPIs and quality standards.
  • Client & Learner Experience: Improve NPS and learner satisfaction scores through seamless operational delivery.
  • Growth Enablement: Build scalable processes to support expansion of training offerings and learner volume.

What Success Looks Like (Year 1 Goals)

  • Reduce rework/errors in scheduling and delivery to <3%
  • Achieve >95% learner satisfaction across all programs
  •  Implement continuous improvement cycle with quarterly ops reviews
  •  Deliver 98%+ compliance on all accredited training audits
  • Launch at least 1 new system improvement initiative per quarter

About You

You’re a systems-minded operator who thrives on clarity, data, and execution. You bring:

  • 5+ years’ leadership in training, education, or professional services
  • Strong understanding of RTO operations, compliance, and the VET sector
  • Demonstrated success managing and improving student management and LMS platforms
  • Experience implementing SOPs, automation, and performance metrics
  • Proven track record of leading teams to achieve measurable improvements
  • A bias for accountability, action, and continuous improvement
  • A mindset for scalability, operational discipline, and tech enablement
