Your Pathway to Success

This role meets all requirements for a Provisional Psychologist to gain practical experience toward full registration while earning a competitive salary. With our guidance and support, you’ll gain hands-on experience and develop skills to:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify barriers to returning to work.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, and stakeholders to create tailored rehabilitation plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions such as CBT, mindfulness, and stress management strategies.
  • Provide counselling and education on mental health, workplace stress, and resilience.
  • Monitor progress and adjust strategies to achieve successful return-to-work outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with professional standards.

Program Structure & Support

KINNECT partners with College of Professional Psychology (COPP) to deliver a structured pathway aligned with the 5+1 internship requirements, ensuring you meet all AHPRA standards.

  • External Supervision: Fully funded through COPP partnership, including one-to-one and observed sessions.
  • Mentorship: Paired with an experienced psychologist for ongoing guidance.
  • Professional Development: Support for 60 hours of PD, National Psychology Exam preparation, and workshops.
  • Logbooks & Case Studies: Templates and checkpoints to keep you on track.
  • Cohort Learning: Forums, shadowing, and peer sessions across our network.
  • Personalised Learning: Additional courses tailored to your interests.
