About the Role
KINNECT is expanding in Brisbane and seeking a passionate Workplace Rehabilitation Provisional Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our multidisciplinary team based in Woolloongabba.
In this role, you will help individuals rebuild their lives and careers following injury or illness, whether physical or psychological, and support their safe, sustainable return to work and everyday life. You will collaborate with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to design tailored rehabilitation plans that make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments including physical, psychological, cognitive, and social
- Develop and manage personalised return-to-work rehabilitation programs
- Deliver evidence-based interventions such as CBT, mindfulness, and stress management techniques
- Provide counselling and adjustment-to-injury support to build resilience and coping strategies
- Liaise with employers to recommend and implement workplace modifications
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for coordinated care
- Monitor progress and adjust plans to ensure successful outcomes
- Maintain accurate and professional case notes and reports

What You’ll Bring
- For Psychologists: Current AHPRA registration
- For Rehabilitation Counsellors: Eligibility for or current full membership with ASORC
- A genuine passion for helping others (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective time management and organisational ability
- Confidence to work independently and within a collaborative team
- Competence with case management software and general IT tools
- A full and valid driver’s licence
- Bonus: Experience in vocational counselling or employment services
