Let the adventure begin
KINNECT Sunshine Coast is excited to welcome a new Occupational Health Nurse to our team. This is a growth role supporting increased referral volumes at our clinic. We are seeking a casual team member to assist with overflow work and provide backup to the existing team. This role does not guarantee set or ongoing hours.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse seeking a rewarding role with genuine work life balance. You will be an integral part of a friendly and supportive team, conducting pre employment medicals and contributing to a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
If you are passionate about occupational health and enjoy working in a flexible, team focused environment, we would love to hear from you.
Your day to day will include
- Conducting pre employment, periodic and health surveillance medical assessments
- Performing urine and saliva drug and alcohol testing
- Conducting neurological, skin, respiratory and cardiovascular medical assessments
- Administering immunisations if registered
- Participating in occasional client site project work such as drug and alcohol testing, which may involve early starts from 6:00am with an early finish
Why you will enjoy this role
- Work life balance. Enjoy consistent weekday schedules between 8:00am and 5:00pm, ideal for nurses transitioning away from shift work
- Supportive team in a growth phase. Join a close knit and collaborative Sunshine Coast team that values experience, stability, teamwork, and long term success
- Flexibility. Casual shifts that can accommodate family commitments such as school drop offs and pick ups
- Opportunities for growth. As the clinic continues to expand, there are opportunities to learn, train, and develop professionally
- Low risk nursing. Focus on pre employment medicals in a lower risk environment compared to acute care settings
- Variety in work. Occasional client specific projects such as early morning drug and alcohol testing. These projects are infrequent and are compensated with additional pay or adjusted hours
