Lead Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant

Job No: KIP1316
Location: Townsville

LET THE JOURNEY BEGIN

Opportunities to join an industry leader with a clear pathway into leadership do not come around often, particularly in regional Queensland.

We have an opportunity for a Lead Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant to join our close-knit team in Townsville. As a Lead Consultant you will balance leadership responsibilities such as mentoring consultants, quality assurance and account management with hands-on case management, contributing directly to the effectiveness of the rehabilitation services KINNECT delivers across the region.

This suits a career-minded Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant with a minimum of two years' experience who wants the next step. It is a genuine step up rather than a title change, and you will keep your clinical skills sharp while building the leadership experience that takes you further.

Working out of Townsville also means real variety. Our North Queensland clients range from mining and resources through to transport, agriculture and defence, so the work is broader than you will find in most metro roles.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LEAD WORKPLACE REHABILITATION CONSULTANT

Mentoring. Provide guidance, support and mentorship to junior consultants. Share your expertise, best practice and clinical insight to help them build their skills.

Quality assurance. Review case strategy and documentation to ensure compliance with best practice and regulatory standards, then provide the training and resources to close any gaps you find.

Account management. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Work alongside the Regional Manager to identify opportunities for account growth and support contract negotiations.

Managing a caseload. Maintain your own caseload of clients requiring workplace rehabilitation services. Conduct thorough assessments, implement personalised case strategies and monitor client progress.
