About the Role
- Assisting chefs by completing food preparation tasks
- Ensuring all dishes are adequately cleaned
- Ensuring appliances and cooking equipment are properly maintained
- Ensuring the kitchen is clean
Qualifications/Experience
- Previous experience working in a kitchen, kitchen chemicals, hospitality and basic food safety will be an advantage
- Knowledge of foodborne illnesses, prevention and sanitization
- Knowledge of chemical storage procedure and safety requirements
- Food Safety Certificate
