As we prepare for our grand opening, we're seeking an experienced Finance Manager to proactively business partner with our new Village Senior Leadership Team. As Amberfield’s pre-opening Finance Manage, you will have unique and considerable ability to set the Village up for long term success.
About The Vacancy
Reporting into the Village General Manager, you will hold a pivotal role in guiding and influencing their informed financial decisions. Also reporting indirectly to LDK’s Chief Financial Officer in LDK’s inter-state corporate finance team, you will be provided with mentoring regarding your professional development, as well as support and guidance to ensure corporate finance functions are working smoothly.
This role will initially involve development and implementation of finance policy and procedure, building towards our “model” village to be implemented across future sites. You will assist to prepare and implement the new finance and payroll system for the village, ensuring village development is undertaken in accordance with LDK’s procurement policy.
Post opening of the village, you will meet all new residents to induct them from a finance perspective and act as the primary source for residents on financial matters, including presenting village finance reports to the residents committee, and attending monthly meetings will village management to discuss results and recommend agreed actions.
About You
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting/Finance.
- CPA qualification or currently completing.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, within a fast-paced and high growth organisation.
- Strong competency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Accounting for the village sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Demonstrated experience with Xero.
