About the Role

  • Assist in creating a warm and welcoming environment for all residents and guests
  • Ensuring the kitchen is clean
  • Assisting chefs by completing food preparation tasks
  • Ensuring all dishes are adequately cleaned 
  • Ensuring appliances and cooking equipment are properly maintained
  • Usually 25-30 hours available across Monday to Friday
  • Must be available until 9pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • Minimum hourly rate is $32.41 (including casual loading) + shift allowance + super

Qualifications/Experience

  • One year experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of foodborne illnesses, prevention and sanitization
  • Food Safety Certificate
