The Landings retirement village located in North Turramurra is currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team. We are looking for someone who wants to empower others through best practice and innovative education approaches.

Our beautiful village at The Landings, North Turramurra, is currently looking for a part-time Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team. 

The Clinical Nurse Educator is an integral part of our village, and you will be role modelling your clinical expertise, using your teaching skills to mentor, promote best practice and grow our care team. The Clinical Nurse Educator works in collaboration with the National Care Education Manager and the Clinical Educator team to plan, implement and evaluate educational strategies for the nurses and careers in our village.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Works collaboratively with the National Care Education Manager to develop and deliver mandatory education and other training based 
  • Aligning all learning and development activities with relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, professional standards and guidelines relevant to the Aged Care environment
  • Providing clinical support, feedback and competency-based assessment of the care team
  • Identifying and responding to the learning needs of individuals 
  • Evaluates and reports of the effectiveness of education within Care
  • Supports learning development and training record management using a Learning Management System (LMS) – LDK Academy
  • Actively seeks and facilitates on-site learning and development opportunities from external providers
  • Actively seeks and supports team members with scholarship and /or external learning opportunities

About you:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Certificate IV in workplace training and assessment or current enrolment in this qualification
  • Relevant post graduate qualifications in Nursing
  • Experience in the community care or aged care sector (desirable)
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems and clinical education (desirable)
