About the Role 

Full accountability for Projects from planning, approval, scoping through to delivery and implementation. In this role the Project Manager will have the responsibility of delivering multiple Projects on time, scope and budget and to the satisfaction of the residents and the wider organisation. This role is expected to manage a wide variety of projects including operational readiness, system implementations, technology rollouts or improvements.

The salary for this role is $140,000 + Super. 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for end-to-end delivery of projects, including project planning, stakeholder engagement, activity and expenditure planning, schedule maintenance, risk management and reporting to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope in line with established LDK project management methodology.
  • Develop and manage project plans, engaging with key stakeholders and staff to ensure alignment to project goals and purpose.
  • Define work packages and supervise outputs of clinical, technical, and operational resources.
  • Maintain project risk and issue registers and proactively identify mitigation strategies through identification, assessment and coordination of response / treatment actions.
  • Resolve problems that arise during daily management of projects and provide a variety of options and alternatives that consider broader business implications.
  • Integrate change management activities into project planning to support successful adoption, minimise resistance and maximise stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage external vendors and contractors ensuring deliverables meet contractual
    obligations, budget and quality expectations.
  • Capture and share lessons learned to support continuous improvement in project delivery practices and frameworks.
  • Develop and implement effective stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
    including industry bodies, clinicians, residents and LDK functional specialists and teams.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor of Project Management / Information Technology / Business / Management / or relevant other tertiary qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience in applying program and project management methods.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage and deliver multiple concurrent projects within a complex and dynamic environment applying best practice project management frameworks.
  • High level communication and engagement skills with a proven track record of achievement in building and maintaining productive partnerships to deliver successful projects in a national organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to convey information confidently both oral and written at all levels.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders to drive and achieve optimal project performance outcomes.
