About the Role
This is a hands-on senior technical role with end-to-end ownership across LDK’s cloud-first environment. You’ll be responsible for the design, administration, security, and optimization of our core systems - ensuring they are secure, scalable and high-performing.
You’ll also act as a Level 3 escalation point, lead complex issue resolution, and contribute to key initiatives including cyber security uplift and system modernization.
This role requires flexibility to travel to LDK villages from time to time as part of supporting our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage core platforms including Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Intune and cloud apps
- Act as the escalation point for Level 2/3 technical issues and major incidents
- Lead troubleshooting and resolve complex technical problems end-to-end
- Administer M365 security and compliance controls (MFA, Defender, policies)
- Support hybrid infrastructure (cloud + on-prem servers, storage, backups)
- Improve system performance, monitoring, automation and resilience
- Drive standardisation (SOE) and governance across devices and systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT solutions with business needs
- Mentor Service Desk and junior team members to uplift capability
- Contribute to projects including platform upgrades, integrations and security initiatives
About You
- 5+ years in a System Administrator / System Engineer / Senior IT role
- Experience managing or resolving complex technical issues end-to-end
- Proven ability to operate as a Level 3 escalation point
- Experience working with vendors and external partner
Qualifications & Skills
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
- Azure / Entra ID & identity management
- Intune (MDM/MAM)
- Proven experience troubleshooting across cloud, networking and server environments
- Experience with security, compliance and access management controls
- Exposure to automation or scripting (e.g. PowerShell)
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Diploma in IT related studies (desirable)
- Understanding of hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem infrastructure)
