About the Role

A great opportunity has become available for a full-time Industrial Sanitor (Night Shift) to join the team in in our Liverpool NSW bakery.

Reporting to the Sanitation Manager, the Sanitor performs a full range of sanitation tasks including general cleaning of the plant and equipment, assembly and set-up of equipment in time for production and maintaining a high level of sanitation and hygiene.

 Working Hours/Shift

Monday & Tuesday: 6PM – 2.30am, 

Wednesday: 4pm – 12.30am,

Friday & Saturday: 12pm – 8.30pm 

The role is predominantly night shift, however, however you will need to be flexible with your availability as the position may vary to meet production demands & schedules.

Casual Sanitor positions are also available. 

Key Responsibilities

• Disassemble / re-assemble and sanitise bakery equipment and components
• Complete routine wash downs & wet cleaning as per schedule
• Manage waste removal, mopping, scrubbing, and detail cleaning as directed
• Follow standard Sanitation SOPs and guidelines to complete tasks
• Maintain and accurately complete key documents and reports
• Flexible to cover a 7 day a week operation
• Experience in sanitation duties within a production environment

About You

• Previous experience in a similar role will be preferred.
• Availability and flexibility to work in a shift environment.
• Food Manufacturing/Industry experience will be highly regarded.
• Ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under specific timescales.
• Great work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and to use initiative
• Physical capacity for heavy lifting of up to 25kg in a safely manner
